MIFF was established in 1995 and supports a kind of cinema that is open to everyone and involves thousands of people worldwide: staff members, students, directors, other festivals’ staff, international production and distribution companies.
MIFF is committed to support new Italian and international talents and rediscover and reinterpret some of the greatest artists in the history of cinema. Every year MIFF travel, collect and discuss films of different length and genre, made in different languages and formats, from around the world.
Every year I edit the MIFF Life Achievement Award tribute film in honor of an esteemeed Italian filmmaker or actor.
